Who knew becoming a publisher could be so easy. Actually, the hardest part was
deciding on a name. No, I'm not officially listed as a business -- that would involve a great
deal of paperwork and taxes -- but my books (yes, there will be more to come sooner than
you would think) are now published by Anessa Books. Has a nice ring to it doesn't it?
I named it after my mother, Nessa, (gone nearly twenty-two years, and yes, I'm still
counting and think of her often -- I don't think you ever get past losing your mother) who,
although she was a wonderfully famous socio-linguist, secretly wanted to write Regency
romance. She even started one -- written out long-hand in a spiral bound notebook, can
you imagine?! Someday I'm going to transcribe it into a Word document and maybe even
finish writing it. I've got no idea what it's about nor how far she got (I've only glanced
through a few pages of it and that was a long time ago).
So, in honor of her memory, I proudly give you Anessa Books.
