Contest Questions
Congratulations to Joy Isley  who got all of the answers
correct!!  Yeah Joy!!  Some others got the answers right as
well, but Joy's name was the one I pulled out of the hat.
I've left the questions here so you can take the quiz yourself.  The answers are
at the bottom.
2.  What was Fungy called when he was a young man?
Scroll down for the answers ... but no cheating!!!
Going down,
            down,
                  down....
Almost there....
1.What were the full names of the three Grace sisters?
Euphrosyne, Aglaia, and Thalia.  They are the names of the three Graces from ancient Greek
Mythology.

2. What was Fungy called when he was a young man?
He was called Sinjin, which is how you pronounce St. John in British English (remember, that's his
first name).

3. Where did Rose and her family live before they moved back to England?
They moved from Greece.  It says so twice in the beginning of the book -- once during the first
scene when Fungy and Rose are talking, she mentions that they've just moved from Greece and
again later when Rose is speaking with Kirtland about her belongings being shipped to England.

4.  What foreign language did Fungy speak to his lover, Georgiana?
Latin.    "Nunc scio quid sit amour"  is Latin for "Now I know what love is"  by Virgil -- that was a
tricky one, he doesn't actually say that it's Latin, you just had to know it.

5. What card game did Rose play with Lord Kirtland?
Whist.  Most people got this one right.
